Go Behind the Scenes of Ben 10 This October in Ben 10: Creator Files
This October, Dynamite Entertainment and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products are taking Ben 10 fans behind the scenes with Ben 10: Creator Files, a special one-shot comic packed with exclusive artwork, creator commentary, and never-before-seen material from the hit series.
Following the release of the fifth issue in September—which introduces Grey Matter and concludes Ben's first showdown with Zombozo—the ongoing series will take a brief break before returning with its next story arc in November. In the meantime, Ben 10: Creator Files offers readers an in-depth look at how the comic comes to life.
Produced by the Man of Action team, series artist Robert Carey, colorist Ren Spiller, letterer Taylor Esposito, and editor Matt Idelson, the special issue walks fans through every stage of the creative process. From Joe Casey's original script to Carey's pencils, Spiller's colors, Esposito's lettering, and the finished comic page, readers will see how each issue is assembled from start to finish.
"We wanted to give the Ben 10 readers something really special, a 'thank you' for the support they've shown the series so far," said Joe Casey. "This Creator Files issue is jam-packed with extra material — including exclusive first looks that we just couldn't wait to show off!"
Beyond the production breakdown, the issue also expands on content previously available only in the highly sought-after Ben 10 ashcan. Fans will finally get access to Casey's creator interview, along with Robert Carey's early character sketches created while developing the series' debut issue.
Dynamite is also opening its archives with an expanded collection of Carey's concept art and designs, including numerous sketches that have never been released publicly. The special will even offer an exclusive first look at designs for the next classic Ben 10 villain, teasing what's to come in future storylines.
The issue is rounded out with a gallery of standout variant covers from the series and additional in-universe bonus material for longtime fans to explore.
Ben 10: Creator Files will be available with two cover options by Robert Carey and Duncan Rouleau, each highlighting different stages of their artistic process using one of their acclaimed Ben 10 covers. A limited number of signed editions by writer Joe Casey will also be available for retailers and fans to order.
