Celebrate 626 Day with a Galactic Splash in Lilo & Stitch: 626!

WHAT IS 626 DAY?
626 Day honors everyone’s favorite blue-furred troublemaker, Stitch — originally known as Experiment 626. Created by the eccentric scientist Dr. Jumba Jookiba, Stitch may have been just one of many experiments, but he’s the one who captured hearts across the galaxy. The annual celebration gives fans a chance to embrace the chaos, charm, and ohana spirit that made Lilo & Stitch a Disney classic.

A THREE-ISSUE TRIBUTE TO OHANA
Lilo & Stitch: 626 is a three-issue event series arriving in May, June, and July — perfectly timed to bookend the big day on June 26. The debut issue bursts onto the scene with two original stories highlighting Stitch and his unforgettable crew, with lettering by Jeff Eckleberry throughout.

Acclaimed writer Daniel Kibblesmith — fresh off his celebrated run on Darkwing Duck — teams up with artist Elisa Pochetta for a tale that dives into the (possibly exaggerated) secret origin of Agent Cobra Bubbles, as told through Lilo’s imaginative lens.

Then, fan-favorite creator George Kambadais delivers a solo adventure starring Captain Gantu, stranded on a rugged Old West–inspired planet and surrounded by dangerous figures from his past.

MORE FAN FAVORITES, MORE CREATIVE FIREPOWER
Future issues will spotlight beloved characters including Nani, Jumba, Pleakley, David, Mertle, and more. An all-star lineup of writers and artists joins the fun, such as Moana McAdams, Chuck Brown (Disney Villains: Scar, Bitter Root), Jeff Parker (Negaduck, Thunderbolts), Edwin Galmon (The Lion King, Mister Terrific), Miriana Puglia, Emiliana Pinna, and Giulia Giacomino.

Whether you’re a lifelong Stitch superfan or just discovering the magic of ohana, Lilo & Stitch: 626 is the perfect way to celebrate 626 Day — with laughter, adventure, and a whole lot of heart.
