The creative force known as Man of Action Entertainment—comprised of Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau, and Steven T. Seagle—will oversee the comic’s direction. These four industry veterans began their careers in comics before founding the influential Man of Action collective, which went on to shape iconic properties like Ben 10, Big Hero 6, and more.
Now, the team returns to their roots, with Joe Casey spearheading the launch of the new series. He’ll be joined by artist Robert Carey, known for his work on titles like Outsiders, James Bond, and Jennifer Blood. Together, they’ll craft a reimagined version of Ben 10 with an updated origin story and a modern, action-driven approach designed to appeal to both longtime fans and a new generation.
“This is basically a straight-up superhero comic that’s going to compete with every major series out there,” said Casey. “This is ‘Ultimate’ or ‘Absolute’ Ben 10. We guarantee, this is the best that Ben 10 has ever been.”
The series will explore the origins of young Ben Tennyson and the mysterious Omnitrix, setting the stage for a deeper and more immersive world. Fans can expect a thoughtful balance of nostalgia and innovation, blending the emotional and the surreal while honoring the franchise’s most beloved elements—like Gwen, Grandpa Max, Vilgax, and the Omnitrix aliens.
